Despite being a staple for a long time, it's common for people to be unfamiliar with press on nails. To address this, we have compiled a list of frequently asked questions that we've received throughout our 14 years of experience in nail production.

How long do they last?

Doobys nails provide a high-end look and long-lasting performance. Our special super hold glue ensures they stay in place up to 10 days, while our easy-to-remove gel tabs are perfect for more frequent wear (a day or evening out)

How long do they take to apply?

It requires minimal prep and takes only 30 seconds to apply each nail - so you can be ready to take on your day in no time.

How do I know they will fit?

Each set comes with 10 different sizes for each hand. Ideal for larger to smaller hands, each set featuring 10 sizes to suit all hand shapes.

Can I reuse your nails?

Of course! all sets are sent in a luxury Doobys gift box so once you have worn simply store in your gift box. Can be reused up to 7 times

How long is delivery?

All our sets are in stock. We offer UK Next Day delivery or standard 1-2 day delivery. International 5-10 days.

Can I return?

Of course ! Simply pop your nails back in a post box and allow us 48 hours we will process your refund for you. Just be sure to include your name & order number

How long your nails last is all down to how well you prep your nails before and the adhesive used. We recommend cleaning your nails and trimming before application. Then out of the box (nails organised in size order) choose the nails that fit best (not too large to cause gaps, this is a common mistake)

Gel tabs are ideal for a day / night out if you cannot have nails for work. As they can be soaked off after a day (they may take 10-15 minutes to soak as they have a strong hold but will come off)

Glue will hold the nails for 10 days. I then remove the nails (soaking in warm water and reapply for another week. They can be worn for 7 weeks, making them a fraction of a salon price

From your Doobys Box choose the nails that fit your fingers best. (10 sizes to choose from our nails
are great for larger and smaller hands)

Remove any leftover polish
from your nails.

If you feel you have
slightly oily nails you can use rubbing alcohol (or a kind nail polish
remover) to gently remove any excess oil. This will ensure a stronger
hold.

Application

Cut the tip of the glue
bottle and apply a small blob to the back of the nail and your own nail
(more glue will ensure a stronger hold)

If using gel tabs, remove
from the sheet and apply a tab smaller than your nails. We advise a
smaller tab than your actual nail this will remove any gaps round the edge
and give the nails the strongest hold.

Soak your nails in warm
soapy water for around 5-10 minutes. We advise to not soak your nails in
acetone if you wish to wear them again as this will damage the gel on the
nails.

If the nails will not budge
you can use another nail to gently prize the nail round the edges.

If you have applied gel tabs
these can be peeled from the back of the nail. If you have used glue this
can be gently removed once the nails are soaked as the glue will be soft.
